Trouble with USAA: If you are having trouble with USAA please click "Search other banks" instead of selecting the logo from the main pane and search the bank name there. That will take you to a different provider that may be more reliable at this time. (Added February 1, 2022)

Trouble with banks in the main panel (Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, TD etc.): Try clicking “Search other banks” instead search the bank there as that will take you to Plaid which is a different secure bank verification provider. (Added May 9, 2022)

There are a few reasons you might have trouble linking your bank account:

1. Your username and/or password are incorrect.

2. Your bank is temporarily having connectivity issues or doesn't work with Plaid or Teller. Banks that sometimes have trouble connecting are Frost, HSBC, and some smaller credit unions.

3. Two other people in your family have already linked that same bank account. For security reasons, we don't allow more than two people to link the same bank account to Catch.

We recommend trying to relink your account a second time. If that doesn't work and you have another bank account at another institution, you can try linking that one instead.

If this doesn't help, please feel free to start a live chat with us using the chat widget in the bottom right corner. Often times we are able to help you fix it live.
